That period, the most challenging and rewarding of her life, encouraged her to share with others what she had thought nearly impossible for herself; creating a dream from literally, the ground up!
Nancys career in real estate, focusing on rural land and ranch sales, has led her from the magnificent Mendocino and Northern Sonoma coasts to the spectacular inland valleys of Mendocino County. Her passion for the Anderson Valley, which began on that day in 1988 when she first drove Hwy. 128, has only intensified and led to the purchase of Wildheart Ranch, near the village of Philo, where she and Iain are currently putting their extensive knowledge and experience in property development to the test!
Along with her great love and reverence for nature, Nancys passion for the last 30 years has been owning and breeding German Shepherds from Americas finest bloodlines. In addition, an important facet of her busy and diverse life is community support and service. She is a member of Soroptomists International, the Commonwealth Club of California, the National Business Womens Association and the German Shepherd Dog Club of America. Nancy is also a member of the trustee's circle for "Copia", the American Center for Food, Wine & the Arts" in the Napa Valley, where as a docent, she shares her knowledge of food and wine and pursues her interest in winemaking and vineyard management.
Nancy considers her life in Mendocino County a dream come true and divides her time between her Anderson Valley Ranch and a home on the Mendocino Coast....in her opinion, the best of both worlds just an hour apart. "I can spend the morning on the beach with my dogs and then enjoy lunch in the vineyards. It's just an incredible area because it offers everything...from surfing and diving to riding, farming and winemaking. Anything you can dream, you can make happen here."
